Thank you. They do not work in the aquarium environment because they prefer environments that have higher concentrations of ammonia (or nitrite). I can give you some references to scientific paper should you want to read about this more. If you add a commercial mix with a large amount of N. europaea or Nb. winogradskyii you might see ammonia (or nitrite) oxidation for a few days but once the bacteria die back you will see the ammonia (or nitrite) concentrations in the water increase.
Thanks again
Timothy

First tanks for your presence in this forum.
Regarding to Nitrosomonas europaea (AOB) and/or Nitrobacter winogradskyii (NOB), as you say they don´t work. My question is :
They don´t do nothing in the aquarium, or they have a short live time, but during this time they ara benefical to our aquarium.

No que diz respeito as bactérias "Nitrosomonas europaea" (AOB) e/ou "Nitrobacter winogradskyii" (NOB), com diz não resultam em aquários. A minha questão é:
Nunca têm qualquer efeito nos aquários ou porque têm uma vida curta, mas durante essa vida são benéficas para o aquário.
